All visiting players must be members of a golf club or recognised golf society. Maximum handicap limit 28 for men and 36 for ladies. Visiting players or their representative must present themselves to the Professional Shop on arrival and prior to play.
Members and Visitors are not permitted to change their shoes or clothing, other than waterproofs in the car park. Commercial vehicles must be parked on the Practice Ground car park.
Golf Course and Practice Ground
Golf shoes and recognised golf wear must be worn. Extremes of dress are not acceptable. Football/beach style shorts, Denim wear and tee-shirts, combat/cargo trousers/shorts, jeans, track/shell suits and trainers must not be worn at any time. Hats must be worn conventionally. Shirts should be tucked into shorts/trousers at all times.
Only smart casual dress to include recognised golf wear is permitted including soft spikes. No denim wear, trainers, headwear, combat/cargo trousers or trousers with patch pockets on the sides to be worn at any time. Loafer, deck shoes are acceptable between 1st May and 30th September without socks. Sandal style/open toed footwear for men is not acceptable at any time.
Shirts should be tucked into shorts/trousers at all times. Extremes of dress are not acceptable. Members/Guests are asked to be considerate of furniture and remove any wet/muddy outerwear when using the Spike Bar.
As above but not including soft spikes or dimple spike golf shoes. Footwear as per the spike bar however men must wear socks at all times and with all footwear.
Smart casual dress is acceptable as above for Clubhouse. No jeans, trainers or collarless shirts. If representing the club or a visiting society of 12 or more after 7.00pm a shirt, tie and jacket is required for men. Appropriate dress for ladies.
Mobile phones, message devices and laptops
All devices must be on silent in all areas at all times. Mobiles may be used for messages but no voice use. Laptops and other computers may be operated in the spike bar only unless by prior arrangement with the General Manager. Phone Calls may be made on the car park area.
Enville Golf Club operates a No Smoking policy throughout its buildings in line with laws and legislation. The designated smoking area is situated to the side of the clubhouse on the patio area and access can be gained through the “Fire Doors” in the main lounge. Smoking outside the Spike Bar and main entrance is not encouraged. The use of E-Cig devices is not allowed anywhere in the building
