Club Sections

  • Ladies

Whether you are a visitor or prospective new member you can be sure to receive a very warm welcome at Enville.

Our ladies’ section is very healthy and has seen a number of new ladies join us in the last few years. These range from complete beginners (who have come through our Ladies’ Academy) to ladies with previous golf experience who are looking to improve their skills on our two challenging but stunning courses and extensive and unparalleled practice facilities.

The section is headed by a Lady Captain and Vice-Captain who are supported by a small committee.

Our current General Manager is female as is the current Club President. The club is committed to the R&A’s Women in Golf Charter and has played host to a number of prestigious Women’s and Girl’s tournaments.

We are a friendly section with a wide age range who like to play competitively and socially. Whether you are a lady who likes to play during weekdays or at weekends you are sure to find someone to partner with.

Our ladies regularly participate in mixed events with all sections of the club as well as County Inter-club Knockouts, County Scratch Leagues (with both A and B teams) and friendly matches with clubs over four counties.

Come and experience what Enville has to offer, you will not be disappointed!

  • Seniors

Club Members aged 55 and above are eligible to play for the Seniors Section, interested members should register their interest with the Seniors Captain.

We play home and away fixtures on weekdays against many of the excellent golf clubs in the West Midlands, for example Beau Desert, Shifnal, Brocton and Lilleshall to name just a few.

We play in teams of 12 to 16 players and each match is followed by some lively, light hearted discussions and a sit-down meal.

Our fixture list and other information is posted on the Seniors notice board situated in the changing room entrance.

Details of each match are notified to Seniors Section members by e.mail approx. 2/3 weeks before each match for their availability, a team is then selected.

In addition to matches we also have a Seniors Captains’ day out, this year we are visiting Fulford Heath Club in August, this is open to anyone who has played in a Seniors match.
