Hole Description

Walking onto the first tee and looking across to the 1st fairway surrounded by heather and tall pines tells you you’re in for a golfing treat and sets the scene for the round ahead.

The opening hole on the Highgate is a welcoming par 5 that provides a very manageable start to the round at 472 yards, however, you may have wished you had stayed longer on our excellent practice facilities, as straightness is key to this opening tee shot, although reachable in two for the longer hitters the green is well guarded by a fabulous green complex of bunkers and mounding.
